From May 1, travelers to Greece will no longer have to show proof of vaccination to enter the country. This was decided by the government in Athens yesterday following a proposal by the responsible health authority EODY. Greek television also reported that the requirement to show proof of vaccination to enter taverns, bars, stores, and museums would also be abolished from May 1.

The mask requirement indoors, on the other hand, will remain. The repeal of the measures is to be put to the test in the fall. Greek vacationers have already decreed that they no longer have to register separately on a government website before entering the country.
